Free access to Britannica for my efforts
Well it is official, my hard work (wasn’t it actually procrastination) has paid off. I have used my new found love of WordPress to assist someone with their new site www.maureencahalan.com meaning that the time spent producing this blog has at least had some practical application.
On top of this and even though it seems to apply to the world and his wife, I have been granted a free year’s subscription to Britannica online for my contributions as a Web Publisher. Yes, I know that nearly everyone on the web these days counts as such, but I am pleased to have something to show for my efforts. As a sometimes student and all the time inquisitive soul I now have access to even more data (as if Google books, the Open University library and the rest of the Internet were not enough to be going on with)
Here then is a sample of the information I can pass out to both my readers (thereby promoting EB)
